2024 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day - Strong in Culture, Stronger Together

The Department of Education, in collaboration with Birrelee MACS, proudly hosted the 2024 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day Celebration in Tamworth.

The event featured beloved guests like Big Ted, Jemima, Luke Carroll, and the Playschool team, delighting the Tamworth community with sing-alongs led by Johnny Huckle, performances by Kyla–Belle Roberts, and Didgeridoo music from Mark Atkins.

Numerous services and community members came together to honour the strength and resilience of our children, making it a truly memorable and special day.
